Online shopping is one of the most popular Internet activities
and online buying one of the fastest growing Internet activities.
Isn't it time that you took advantage of that fact with your web site?
"Dear Deb, You have been my web developer now for about 3 years. I have had a web site for a little over 8 years. During that time I have hired many people to work on my site. You have been the absolute best web developer I have had by far. You have a gift for listening to what my web needs are and then creating those exact needs into the web site. You are a true professional. I enthusiastically endorse you to my clients. Thank you for all you have done. My business success in part is due to the outstanding web work you consistently do for my company. Warmly,"
Eric Lofholm - President Eric Lofholm International, Inc.

Dear Friend,

Web design and development are my areas of expertise and I'm loving today's online world. Did you know that the Internet has now produced 20% of the millionaires in the United States!
What further evidence do you need to prove that business on the Internet is fantastic!

FACT: 78% of businesses with an online presence report their business is healthier — has a competitive advantage or stronger economic footing — because they have a Web site. 76% say their Web site generates leads for their business. The strongest indicator of how businesses have taken to the Internet is the fact that they are making money online. Of the 32% of the respondents who sell products or services online, 82% reported receiving monthly revenue from their Web sites. (Source: eMarketer.com)

FACT: Total online consumer spending rose from $93.2 billion to $117.4 billion in 2004, to $172 billion in 2005, 2006 totalled $170.8 billion and is on target to reach $200 billion by year end 2007. (Source: eMarketer.com, Forrester Research, ComScore.com and BizReport.com)

FACTS:

- There are 1,173,109,925 Internet users worldwide! (InternetWorldStats.com June 30 2007.)

- Technorati Inc estimates over 175,000 new blogs are created each day.

- Netcraft reports that as of this month the Internet currently hosts over 110 million websites.

- And a recent University of Iowa study calculated the size of the web at over 29.5 billion pages!

Having worked online since 1996, I've not only watched the Internet grow, I've been a part of its growth. I wouldn't want to go back to the offline work world at any price. I love working online and helping people build their Internet presence and business. There is nothing more satisfying in my career than helping others to succeed.

I started online in 1996 teaching Netscape Navigator, and how to build personal web sites. I still teach several online classes. My students heighten my awareness as to what web site visitors look for, what they want, need, and what makes them respond. This gives me a tremendous advantage when it comes to website design and development.

If you want a results oriented web site with presentation and communication that motivates the immediate response of either obtaining a sale or a name and email address for your all-important database,
you've come to the right place.
I specialize in reaching the right audience with the right message. That's what brings success to any web site.

Are you convinced that you can achieve success online?

You should be! Small businesses who use the Internet have grown 46% faster than those that do not. (American City Business Journals)

And most importantly, as I already reported above, the Internet has now produced 20% of the millionaires in the United States!

web development success

With so many web services clamoring for your attention - from software programs and developers, pay-per-click search engines to hosting and design companies and the infamous Internet gurus - it's easy to fall victim. It's quite a ruff 'n tumble world in here. But you have to learn as much as possible and hang tough to get in there among the "big guys."

My number one piece of advice is to get your business online, treat it like a real business, and hang in there... persistence will pay off!

web site design

Let me assure you, the intimidation factor of starting or building a business online is more formidable than the reality. Avail yourself of my knowledge and experience in any of these ways:
  • I can completely design and develop your website for you

  • I can help you with your website development

  • I can build custom-designed templates for you to take over and fill with content

  • Or you can take advantage of my online tutorials and resources to achieve success on your own.
Let's discuss each of these services:

Complete Website Package: I will write you a proposal and estimate for website design and development dependent upon the information you provide and completely build (or rebuild) your site.

Help You Build: This is only if you know how to do some of the work yourself but need a bit of direction or someone to answer your questions.

Template Package: I will design and create templates without copy and you can add your own content and make as many duplications of the template as you need at no extra cost.

Coaching: I will consult with you on website development whether you do it yourself or have someone else create it.

My tutorials and resources for a do-it-yourself website are located here.

My Highly Recommended Services:

For extremely affordable domain names and hosting, go where I go to get mine, www.BetterWebBusiness.com. $8.95 for a dot com domain name, and as little as $3.99 per month for hosting. It doesn't get much better than that!

For your shopping cart or autoresponder service, I use and recommend
1 Shopping Cart.

Audio services are provided by my husband, Dan. His web site is AudioBarAndGrill.com. He has plenty of references, just as I do!

I also highly recommend Google Adsense. It's an awesome way to earn passive income online with your web sites.

design terms
For those of you who are utterly confused, barely hanging on, or to ease your transition from the "off world" to the "on," I have created "Internet Business Strategy" Tutorials for those who need a bit of purpose and clarity in this confusing online jungle.

My Experience:

Successful website development requires knowledge and skills in many areas. I have been working online since 1996 and have an additional 12 years experience and higher education in marketing and design offline. I am reliable, dependable, and a professional that produces quality work. Beyond that, I understand marketing and direct sales. I was Director of Advertising for Tom Kovarik, CEO, Nevco (see his reference below) prior to designing on the web.

"Over the years I have had literally thousands of employees. Of the many that came to my attention only a few stood out as having something special. Out of those few, Debby stood out as an individual that was up there above the crowd. To be successful it is very helpful to have great people around you. I always thought, 'If only I had a thousand Debbys, we'd control the world!"
-Tom Kovarik (CEO, Nevco Corporation, Las Vegas NV)

Anyone can accomplish web site design to some degree or another. I go beyond visual appeal to provide optimized pages and graphics with attention to detail and value centered content. Your website will showcase your offer in its best light.

Key Elements to effective web site design:
  • Simplicity
  • Consistency
  • Identity
  • Content
  • User Friendly Navigation
  • Visual Appeal
  • Browser Compatibility
  • Interactivity
Direct Response Websites
If you are a direct response marketer, the ability to translate the sales process into design and technology is what it's all about. An ineffective website or totally intangible product will cost you... in lost business.

Websites require the ability to load fast, be professional, fulfill the "What's In It For Me" expectation, and include the necessary elements of an opt-in program and a Call to Action. Direct response websites must focus on its target audience, create the intended mood from the start, and result in accomplishing at least one of two things: obtain a sale or collect a name and email address so you can keep in touch.

Ebook, Ecovers, Product Design
According to the International Digital Publishing Forum reports that e-books are the fastest-growing segment of the publishing industry.

Ebooks and ecovers are some of my favorite creations! From editing to writing to design, I've contributed to many ebooks. Audio and video are also available!

"I've had the opportunity to work with Debby for over a year now, and what a pleasureable, professional and productive year it's been. Debby's basic goodness of character, quality of work, attention to detail and responsiveness to deadlines can not be overstated. Watching, and being but a small part of her business growth and expansion has been, and will continue to be, a sincere pleasure and honor." Barry Rice
